I Don't Want To Sound Like A Queer Or Nothing...

Wow. The Miami Heat might have the gayest pre-game ever. Robert Miles power-trance? And I think their flag guy looked like he was warming up for the Gay Pride parade. And I think their cheerleaders are transgenders, too.

* The title of this post is a reference to the movie Orgazmo. This post definitely shouldn't be perceived as gay bashing or anything of the nature. Just having fun with the team that will LOSE to the Mavs!

Al Kablooie

I guess it's a good thing that Abu Musab Al Zarqawi was killed in Iraq, but what the hell is up with that freaky framed picture of his corpse? I won't link to it here, but it's widely available on nearly every mainstream news site.

Honestly, who decides to have a press conference to announce the death of a major terrorist and says, "Hmmm... This picture needs something. Can somebody go to Wal-Mart and find a nice suitable gold frame for this picture of a dead guy?" Weird...

I wish that this would spark the turning point in Iraq, but I just don't see it happening. The religious sects in Iraq are at each other's throats, with various external groups (like Al Qaeda) adding wood to the fire. I wish I could be more optimistic, but that boat left long ago.

Iraq is a mess, and I think the majority of Americans would just want an honest assessment of the situation, and a realistic projection of where we can go from here. That won't happen with this Adminstration, though. Oh well. At least we got a nice framed picture out of the deal...

Hey Wait I Have A New Complaint

Have you ever noticed how much my blog sucks?

Well, I have.

I started this blog primarily to bitch about politics. I guess I'm kinda over that now. I still have a ton of complaints about American politics, but I've decided that there's not much point in researching and writing about it. It makes me angry, and it doesn't have much of an effect on the final outcome. All of the smartest bloggers in the world couldn't keep US out of Iraq or help get Kerry elected. On the other hand, Bush would have lost if he came out on television and said that puppies aren't cute. The level of political discourse in the United States has fallen to a dangerously stupid level. I'm just trying to slowly back away and keep my own sanity...

I also quit writing to this blog because many of my opinions would have a negative effect on my employment. I might expand on that later, or maybe I won't. Who knows? Who cares?

Anyway, I plan on updating more often, but my posts probably won't make much sense. But honestly, who cares?
