POLITICS - Dear Laura
The Bush Administration had a little bit of trouble with the truth in 2003. I couldn't decide which fib was my favorite, so I had to declare a tie. I'll declare the other tie winner tomorrow.
Untruth --
Boxgate. At one of Bush's speeches last January, somebody taped over the MADE IN CHINA logos stamped on the boxes in front of his podium. This, of course, is a federal offense. Not surprisingly, Bush hasn't been interested in pursuing or prosecuting the criminal. Check out this Washington Post article for the full scoop (and better picture).
